Credits
I’d like to give credits where credits are due. Without them, my site lulls into shades of grey.
Special thanks to Jon Serrano for the conversations, the consultations, and design help in my many, many drafts of this site.
My former art teacher and forever cool guy Renzo Ventrella did the caricatures.
Tafari Stevenson-Howard , Andy Park , and Groana Melendez had their hands in the photography over the last few years, and I hope they’ll continue to do so.
This theme was made using WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, and Thesis.

Some know me as Jose. Others as Mr. V. Educator, writer, activist, and father. Here I'll be posting thoughts in all those voices.

Mr. Vilson,
I truly enjoy your site. I appreciate that you are but one of a thimble-full of African Americans/Afro Latinos
who use their education to try to help our youth.
As an educator, yours is a thankless job; that you stay the course speaks volumes about your character.
I noticed that you also do design work; I really like the clean, uncluttered look of JLV. I am actually looking
for a similar design for my corporate website, Elite Media Group.
I run a micro business enterprise, so I don’t have a large design budget. I am hoping, however, that won’t
mean I can’t get the look I feel best compliments my brand.
What are your rates?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Kameko Thomas
